ABOUT

Lauren is a proud Latina born in the north but raised in the south. She’s got that Florida charm with a little bit of a bite.

From the minute she could walk she was always moving and grooving; putting on shows in her pampers, acting a fool and making up elaborate tales. To channel all her energy her parents enrolled her in figure skating which she soon traded in for ballet slippers when she moved at the age of 7 from Connecticut to Tampa. Her dance teachers all noticed her emotional vulnerability and animated face while dancing and suggested she try acting. It wasn’t til her first high school musical as the silly police officer in “Pirates of Penzance” she knew she found her passion and calling.

Thanks to all her wonderful teachers and unconditional love from her parents she is now a recent graduate of Emerson College having obtain a degree summa cum laude in BFA acting along side two minor: one in dance and the other in African American Studies. In her world there are no limits, she is creative, courageous, and captivating. She hopes to cultivate and create art that is socially engaged, diverse, and deeply personal.

When she isn’t performing, Lauren can be found blasting her records while painting, reading up on her horoscope, or embarking on an adventure for the best matcha.
